LaunchPad is Ubuntu's project management system It provides tools for managing source code for many of the Ubuntu's projects. This is also the best place to go with regards to reporting any bugs you may find with Ubuntu. Ubuntu also uses Lauchpad for user+group management. Take a look at ubuntu-za's Member List.
